I finally got around to seeing the Alexander McQueen show last week and now I completely understand why people are waiting in hours long lines to see this show. It blew me away and is nothing short of amazing. . McQueen was a visionary and a creative genius and even if you are not a big fan of fashion you will be hard pressed not to be impressed. The design, materials, and patterns are fantastic. It made me feel that creatively we are only bound by the limitlessness of our own imagination. It is at the Met through August 7th. 2011 CCNY Juried Competition Winners

Congratulations to Nathan Bett, Goseong Choi, and Hugo Fernandes, the winners of the CCNY Annual Exhibition for which I was the juror. The exhibition will be at the Camera Club of New York from August 18 – September 10, 2011
