Best Pad Thai Ever!

This is Aoy, the owner of The Rice Paddy in Marquette, Michigan. On our way back from the Oregon coast we arrived in Marquette after a long day of exploring and driving the Keweenaw Peninsula hungry and tired. We found this place on an iphone app called Urban Spoon and decided to try it. It appeared to be a small place that mostly catered to take out with only a few bar stools - we contemplated going somewhere that would have tables but decided to stay. And how we were rewarded, with the best damn pad thai (I've been to Thailand twice) I have had in my life! Another major highlight were her cream cheese wontons that were clusters of pure deliciousness that melted in your mouth. Aoy is a real character calling you "boyfriend" or "girlfriend" when you walk in her restaurant. Once she found out we were gay, she took to calling us girlfriend. She also happens to be married to the local news anchorman. I would definitely return to Marquette just to eat at The Rice Paddy again....
